Specific instructions for Universal Music Publishing Group

Universal Music Publishing Group Brazil statements contain hidden characters in specific columns that prevent correct parsing during import. These characters must be removed before uploading the file to Reprtoir.

Follow these steps:

1. Rename the file extension from “.tab” to “.csv”.
2. Open the CSV file in spreadsheet software such as Excel, LibreOffice, or Numbers.
3. Locate columns AE to A8.
4. Either clear all cells in these columns or delete the columns entirely.
5. Save the file in CSV format.

The file is now ready to be uploaded to Reprtoir.
