Spreadsheet Templates List
What are Spreadsheet Templates?
Spreadsheet Templates are predefined Google Sheets structures used to import catalog, CRM, contract, and royalty data into Reprtoir. Each template defines the exact set of columns expected by the system to ensure clean metadata ingestion.
Templates contain only standard metadata fields. You may add custom Tag columns or Identifier columns when required.
Template Structure
All templates share the same three-tab layout:
Tab 1: Instructions
General explanations and guidance for using the template.
Tab 2: Data
The only tab where you should enter metadata.
Tab 3. Reference
A list of controlled values required for specific fields.
For procedures related to importing templates, refer to the "Spreadsheet Importer" page.
Template Categories
Below are all available Spreadsheet Templates, grouped by category.
Assets Templates
| Type | Template |
|---|---|
| Tracks to Albums | Assets – Tracks to Albums |
| Tracks [1] | Assets – Tracks |
| Videos | Assets – Videos |
| Works with Right Splits (Columns) [2] | Assets – Works with Right Splits (Columns) |
| Works with Right Splits (Rows) [3] | Assets – Works with Right Splits (Rows) |
Notes
[1] Avoid creating orphaned Tracks unless you exclusively use Reprtoir for music sharing. For distribution or royalty workflows, the Tracks to Albums template is highly recommended.
[2] Column mode supports up to 10 contributors per Work.
[3] Row mode supports unlimited contributors. Enter Work metadata on the first row only, then list additional contributors below without repeating metadata.
CRM Templates
These templates allow you to import companies and contacts involved in your catalog, licensing, and royalty operations. They ensure your CRM is clean, structured, and ready for use in Contracts and Royalty Accounting.
Available templates
| Type | Template |
|---|---|
| Companies | CRM – Companies |
| Contacts | CRM – Contacts |
Contracts Templates
These templates help you create incoming and outgoing royalty contracts for labels, publishers, and other partners. They define what metadata and financial information is imported for each contract.
Available templates
| Type | Template |
|---|---|
| Labels (Money In) | Contracts – Labels (Money In) |
| Labels (Money Out) | Contracts – Labels (Money Out) |
| Publishers (Money In) | Contracts – Publishers (Money In) |
| Publishers (Money Out) | Contracts – Publishers (Money Out) |
| Others (Money In) | Contracts – Others (Money In) |
| Others (Money Out) | Contracts – Others (Money Out) |
Note
These templates support contracts with a single rightsholder. For multi rightsholder agreements, build the contract directly in Workspace.
Royalties Templates
These templates allow you to import incomes and expenses that feed into royalty calculations.
Typical uses:
- direct incomes from affiliates, DSPs, societies
- manual incomes for catalog licensing
- administrative and operational expenses deducted before payout
Available templates
| Type | Template |
|---|---|
| Direct Incomes | Royalties – Direct Incomes |
| Expenses (Fees) | Royalties – Expenses (Fees) |
Best practices
- Work on a copy of the template inside your own Google Drive
- Never modify or rename column headers
- Enter data only in the Data tab
- Add additional identifiers and tags only when needed
- Do not use merged cells or custom formats
- Validate with a small import before scaling to large batches
