What is a Tag?
A Tag is a keyword that helps classify and help to search and filter. In Reprtoir, Tags are assignable, filterable, and sortable in any Assets and Items List.
Tags List
Where can find the Tags List?
To display the Tags list, go to the navigation menu located at the left of the Workspace, click on the "Catalog Management" icon, browse to the "Properties" section, and click on the "Tags" list.
The Tags List displays several columns by default, including:
Column Name | Instructions |

Name | The Name of the Tag |
Tag Category | Name | The Tag Category Name of the Tag |
Tag Category | Type | The Tag Category Type of the Tag |
Creation Date | The Creation Date of the Tag |
You can add or remove additional columns using the optional Custom Columns feature.
Adding a Tag
Good to know
Generally, there is no need to add Tags manually as they are usually created on the fly when adding Assets and Items. If necessary, it is nevertheless possible to add Tags by following the steps below.
To add a Tag, go to the navigation menu located at the left of the Workspace, click on the "Catalog Management" icon, browse to the "Properties" section, and click on the "Tags" list.
At the top right of the list, click the orange "New Tag" button.
A pop-up window will open to enter the necessary data for the new Tag:

Name * | Enter the Tag's Name |
Category * | Select the Tag Category of the Tag |
Once filled in, to save the new Tag, click on the orange "Save" button at the bottom right of the pop-up window. The new Tag will be displayed in the "Tags" list.
TClick the grey "Cancel" button to cancel the action.
Editing Tags
To edit Tags, go to the navigation menu located at the left of the Workspace, click on the "Catalog Management" icon, browse to the "Properties" section, and click on the "Tags" list.
Select one or more Tags in the list, right-click (or, when hovering over the Tags, click on the three dots on the right side), and then click on the "Edit" action in the opened contextual menu.
This will open a pop-up window at the right of the Workspace to mass edit the selected Tags' metadata. Please visit the Mass Edit article to learn more about this feature.
To save, click the orange "Save" button at the bottom right of the pop-up window.
Click the grey "Cancel" button to cancel the action.
Deleting Tags
To delete Tags, go to the navigation menu located at the left of the Workspace, click on the "Catalog Management" icon, browse to the "Properties" section, and click on the "Tags" list.
Select one or more Tags in the list, right-click (or, when hovering over the Tags, click on the three dots on the right side), and then click on the "Delete" action in the opened contextual menu.
This will open a pop-up browser alert at the top of the Workspace.
To stop the action, click the "Cancel" button.
Click on the "OK" button to confirm the deletion.
