What is YouTube Importer?

"YouTube Importer" is a tool to bulk import any Video available on YouTube in a minute. Please note that only Videos publicly available on YouTube can be found and imported.

Connecting a Google Account (Beta)

If you see "Google account required" on the Pane, you need to start by permitting your Reprtoir account to import videos from YouTube. Once a user is logged in, all team members benefit from the functionality.

To set up Youtube Importer in your account, you must connect your Google account to Reprtoir from "Settings > Integrations > Google", then click on "Sign in with Google" and follow the process.

You can remove the Google account authorization from the exact location.

During the beta, you may have browser security messages from Google during the login process. Please ignore them.

If you have a question about privacy, please know that we only have permission to read metadata content hosted on YouTube. No other Google services are affected.

Importing YouTube Videos

To import YouTube Videos, go to the navigation menu located at the left of the workspace, click on the "Catalog Management" icon, and click on "YouTube Importer" under the "Import Tools" section.

Choose a territory at the right of the search bar in the Pane that opened. By default, the territory of your account is selected.

In the search bar, type in any Release Title and/or Artist Name, then click the orange "Search" button.

In the result list, select the Release(s) to import by right-clicking on them (or click on the three dots icon located on the right side of the line when you hover it) and select "Import".

The new Album(s) will be immediately added to the "Albums" list.
