In Reprtoir, Contract Balances automatically shows the total amounts indicated in the Operations list for each Contract, which can be debit or credit and other important accounting status information.
The Contract Balances List displays several columns by default, including:
|The Name of the Contract Balance
|The Name of the Rights-Holder's Contract
|The Opening Balance represents any outstanding debits or credits from the previous period carried forward
|The Incomes Amount is the total Income earned by the Contract
|The Expenses Amount is the total Expenses incurred by the Contract
|The Balance is a snapshot of the final balance of the Contract after consolidating and closing it
|Latest Closing Date
|The Latest Royalty Period Closing Date of the Contract Balance
|Next Closing Date
|The Next Royalty Period Closing Date of the Contract Balance
|The Creation Date of the Contract Balance
You can add or remove additional columns using the optional Custom Columns feature.
To add an Initial Contract Balance, go to the navigation menu at the left of the Workspace, click on the "Royalty Accounting" icon, browse to the "Royalties" section, and click on the "Contract Balances" list.
At the top right of the list, click the orange "New Initial Contract Balance" button.
A pop-up window will open to enter the necessary data for the new Royalty Statement Income:
|Rights-Holder (Contact/Company) *
|Select the Rights-Holder's Name (Mandatory)
|Money Out Contract *
|Select the Money Out Contract's Name (Mandatory)
|Opening Balance *
|Enter the Opening Balance's amount (Mandatory)
Once filled in, to save the new Initial Contract Balance, click the orange "Save" button at the bottom right of the pop-up window. The new Initial Contract Balance will be added to the Contract and displayed in the "Contract Balances" list.
Click the grey "Cancel" button to cancel the action.

Initial Contract Balances cannot be deleted directly. If you need to remove an Initial Contract Balance, please email [email protected], and we will assist you.
