What is the Merger feature?‌

The Merger feature process the combination of different Items (such as Artists, Record Labels, Songwriters, Music Publishers, Catalogs, and Tags) into a single Item. This feature helps consolidate duplicate entries or merge Items representing the same entity.

Merging

To merge Artists, Record Labels, Songwriters, Music Publishers, Catalogs, or Tags, select Items in the appropriate list, click right and then click on the "Merge" action in the opened contextual menu. A pop-up menu will open, giving access to the merging tool.

On the list on the left, choose the Catalog you want to keep by hovering over the names and clicking on "Keep this one". All the Catalogs listed on the left will be merged under the Catalog displayed on the right. Catalogs on the left will be irreversibly deleted after that you confirm the merge action.

Unmerging

It is not possible to reverse a merge of Assets or Items once it has been completed in Reprtoir.
