Specific instructions for Universal Music Group Statements

Universal Music Group USA statements include non data rows before and after the main table. These rows must be removed so that the file can be correctly interpreted during import.

Follow these steps:

1. Open the CSV file in spreadsheet software such as Excel, LibreOffice, or Numbers.
2. Delete the first seven rows at the top of the file.
3. Delete the orphan rows at the bottom of the file, such as lines labeled “Activity” or “No records found”.
4. Verify that the column headers are now located on row 1.
5. Save the file in CSV format.

The file is now ready to be uploaded to Reprtoir.
