Adding Videos in bulk

Reprtoir offers two methods to bulk import Videos. Both solutions are very effective. We advise taking the time to test the best solution for your usage.

🚧

Pros and cons

  • The Spreadsheets method allows structuring your data and importing at once not only the fields required by Reprtoir but also the custom Tags. Its downside is that it could be quite time-consuming depending on the metadata to import.
  • The YouTube Importer method is a very fast way to import a lot of assets, but it is limited to what metadata is available in streaming services.

Using Spreadsheets

To add Videos in bulk, go to the navigation menu located at the left of the Workspace, click on the "Catalog Management" icon, browse to the "Assets" section, and click on the "Videos" list.

Click the orange "New Video" button and then hit "Import from a Spreadsheet" at the top right of the list.

To learn more about Spreadsheets, please visit Spreadsheets.

Using YouTube Importer

Alternatively, go to YouTube Importer to import Videos available on YouTube in a blink of an eye. So you won't waste your time recreating them manually in Reprtoir.
