What is the Locker feature?‌

The Locker feature is an additional layer of security to protect padlocked Items against accidental edition or deletion of Items by a User.

In other words, even if a User has the right to edit or delete Items, he will not be able to edit or delete padlocked Items.

This feature applies to Albums, Tracks, Videos, Works, Playlists, and Contracts.

Locker Permissions

Account administrators can manage User locker permissions in Teams Settings.

Locking Items

To lock Items, go to the List of those Items, select one or more Items, right-click (or, when hovering over the Items, click on the three dots located on the right side), and then click on the "Lock" action in the opened contextual menu.

A padlock icon appears to the right of the Item name when it is locked.

Unlocking Items

To lock Items, go to the List of those Items, select one or more Locked Items, right-click (or, when hovering over the Items, click on the three dots located on the right side), and then click on the "Unlock" action in the opened contextual menu.

The locked padlock icon to the right of the Item name disappears when the Item is unlocked.
