What is an Income?

An Income (also known as "Revenue") is an amount the Organization earns for Digital or Physical Royalties, Neighboring, Performance or Mechanical Rights, Synchronizations, or other sources such as Concerts, Tour or Merchandising.

Incomes list statuses

Here is the list of statuses and their meanings that you can see on the list of Incomes.

Adding an Income

Several types of Incomes can be added:

Royalty Statement Incomes

A Royalty Statement Income is an amount perceived by an Organization from a third party, such as Distributors, Aggregators, Retailers, Neighboring, Performance, and/or Mechanical Rights Societies for commercial music usage as for download sales, streaming uses or performance rights. Usually, these Companies or CMOs typically provide detailed sales or rights operations on spreadsheets. Reprtoir supply powerful tools to extract and splits Royalties from that kind of file. Synchro (Tracks)

A Track Sync Income is a Revenue perceived by an Organization from a third party such as a studio, an agency or a brand for the right to use a Track (also known as "Sound Recording" or "Master Tape") in a TV series, movie, video game, or commercial. Synchro (Works)

A Work Sync Income is a Revenue perceived by an Organization from a third party such as a studio, an agency or a brand for the right to use a Work (also known as "Musical Works" or "Composition") in a TV serie, movie, video game, or commercial. Track License

A Track License Income is a Revenue perceived by an Organization from a third party such as a record label for the right to use a Track ("Sound Recording" or "Master Tape") in a compilation - and for which the third party does not provide a detailed Royalty Statement spreadsheet. Direct Incomes

A Direct Income is a Revenue perceived by an Organization from a third party that is not linked to any Asset such as, for example, fees for concerts or the appearance of an Artist in an advertisement. Click on the following links to learn more about how to add a Direct Income.

Editing Incomes

To edit an Income (or several at a time), go to the navigation menu on the left, open the "Royalties Management" section and click on the "Incomes" list. Select one or more Incomes in the list, point them and click right (or click on the three dots icon
located on the right side of the line when you hover it) and then click on the "Edit" action in the opened contextual menu.
This will open a pop-up at the right of the Workspace to mass edit the Incomes metadata. To learn more about the "Mass Actions" feature, follow the link below:
To save the modification(s), click on the orange "Save" button located at the bottom right of the pop-up window. The modification(s) will then be immediately available in the Incomes list. To stop the action, click the gray "Cancel" button next to it.

Deleting Incomes

To delete an Income (or several at a time), go to the navigation menu on the left, open the Royalties Management" section and click on the "Incomes" list. Select one or more Incomes in the list, point them and click right (or click on the three dots icon
located on the right side of the line when you hover it) and then click on the "Delete" action in the opened contextual menu.
Be careful, Incomes will be irreversibly deleted.
