What is a Playlist?

A Playlist is a virtual list of Tracks that you can deploy as a Public Page and then share with any Contact present in the CRM to promote or pitch your music.

Adding a Playlist

To add a Playlist, go to the main sidebar menu, open the "Playlists Management" section and then click on the "Playlists" list. Click on the orange button "New Playlist" located at the top right of the Workspace.
This will open a pop-up window to enter the data needed to add the Playlist.

Enter the name of the Playlist.
Client
Enter the Lead/Customer of the Playlist.
Main Artists
Enter the Main Artists of the Playlist.
Featured Artists
Enter the Featured Artists of the Playlist.
Description (publicly visible)
Enter the description of the Playlist (will be displayed on the Playlist public page).
Notes
Record a custom note.
To record the new Playlist, click on the orange button "Save" located at the bottom right of the pop-up window. The new Playlist will then be immediately available in the "Playlists" list. To stop the action, click on the grey "Cancel" button next to it.

Managing Playlists / Adding Tracks to a Playlist

To manage a Playlist, you can add, remove, or reorder by drag and drop one or multiple Tracks inside.
Please note that modifying a Playlist also modifies the generated Public Pages immediately.

Public Pages

For each created (and shared) Playlists, the system automatically hosts a Public Page.
Here is how a Playlist's listening page looks like on the recipient's end:
The design of these Public Pages cannot be personalized by the User. We plan to offer a new version that will allow the user to custom brand each Playlist.

Sharing Playlists

To share a Playlist, open the Playlist and then click on the orange button "Share" located at the top right of the page. This will open a pop-up window to enter the data needed to share the Playlist.
When you share your Playlist with someone, an email is automatically sent to that person, but inside of your "Shares" tab, you also have access to your Playlist listening page's URL that you can copy and hand out to anyone you like.
Actually, every single Playlist inside of your Reprtoir account is represented by a simple URL you can share with anyone.
Each Playlist in Reprtoir also has a default public listening page URL that you can copy and send to a whole list of contacts.
Sharing a Playlist page to a dedicate person vs. using the public URL simply allows you to personalise it with a message and different permissions.
If you choose to send the Playlist by email to your Contacts, they will receive it immediately when you will save it.

Send email notification to associated contacts
If this option is selected, an email will be immediately sent to the associated Contacts when you will save the Share.
Allow streaming
If this option is selected, the associated Contacts will have the right to listen to the Tracks on the Public page.
Allow source audio download
If this option is selected, the associated Contacts will have the right to download the Source Audio Tracks on the Public page.
Allow MP3 download
If this option is selected, the associated Contacts will have the right to download the MP3 Audio Tracks on the Public page.

Public URLs

For each share, the system automatically create Public URLs are the web addresses...
That URL randomly generated from billions of combinations and cannot be indexed by search engines like Google. So, in terms of probability, it is impossible to access a Playlist without knowing its URL.
So be careful when sharing an URL if you don't want anyone to be able to access them.

Monitoring Playlists

To monitor a Playlist, open the Playlist and click on the "Analytics" Tab.
In this panel, you can filter the results by the Public Link or the Contacts.
Every Playlist you create comes with its own analytics and monitored usage data. These analytics are found in your Playlists' "Analytics" tab.
They will show you how many views, streams and downloads your Playlists have garnered.
Stream and download quantities can be seen for each Track present in the Playlist, and you also have the possibility of viewing this data for each individual Playlist listening page you created through the analytic's filter tool called "Filter by sharing..."
