API rate limiting

We've added rate limiting to the Reprtoir API to keep the service fast and reliable for everyone.

  • Requests are limited per account. The limit is shared by all of the account's API keys.
  • Every response includes X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset headers, so you can track your usage.
  • Requests over the limit get a 429 Too Many Requests response, with a Retry-After header giving the number of seconds to wait.
